Helping one person at a time live a healthy life
Come train at the first private studio in Leawood, Kansas. We've been helping people live their healthiest lives since 2001.
Three ways to train here, and each one has a name
Ninety percent of what we do is one-on-one personal training: weight training, creative cardio and a meal plan. Every week you get a lean muscle mass measurement with calipers, so your program stays matched to your long-term health goals.
Is the problem the gym, or that nobody there is watching you?
Plenty of people get fit alone in a big gym. If that is you, keep going. This studio exists for everyone else: the people who did seven months on their own and could not tell if anything changed.
Here, someone can tell, and has since 2001. Your trainer measures you every week with calipers, writes it down, and adjusts the plan. The number moves or it does not, and either way you know why.
Real food, not a diet
Christina has a saying: "If you diet, you'll die." Don't be alarmed. At His & Her Fitness you get a meal plan and a library of more than 170 recipes, straight from Christina's kitchen to yours. She's sharing her popular Hamburger Pizza recipe to whet your appetite.

What clients say, and what they did
4.9 stars from 81 Google reviews, as of September 2026. Christina answers nearly every one herself. Read them on Google or Yelp.
8 Weeks to Greatness has run here since 2009 and is still offered, along with 12 Weeks to Abs. Every cohort from 2009 through 2020 is documented on this site, and seven clients kept public journals of their first weeks. Transformations

How do I book a first session?
Call (913) 206-7645 or send the contact form and say what you want to work on. Everyone starts with a first-day assessment: your trainer takes your numbers, asks about your goals and any injuries or limitations, and puts you through a baseline workout to see where you are starting from. It all goes into your plan, so any trainer at the studio can pick up your workout where the last one left off.
