For the whole hour, One-on-One training. Christina calls it VIP Service.
You work directly with your trainer on what you need: weights, creative cardio, your meal plan, your measurements, your goals. In her words, this is where "kicking the bag, not the trainer" comes into play, and it feels good.
What are your fitness goals, and what happens to them here?
Your goals become the plan. In the first session your trainer writes down what you want, measures where you are, and builds the weeks from there. Weight, strength, a wedding, a knee that has to carry you up stairs again: the plan is different for each, and it changes as your numbers change.

Weight loss, muscle, or just feeling better: which one is this for?
All three, and the work looks different for each. Weight loss pairs weights with creative cardio and a meal plan you can actually cook. Muscle means progressive lifting with your form corrected in the moment. General health means all of it at a pace you can keep. Your trainer picks the mix from your measurements, not from a template.

What is the first session like?
The first session is a measurement, not a test. Your trainer takes your numbers, asks about your goals, past injuries and schedule, then walks you through a workout built for where you are today. You leave with a plan and a date for the next measurement. Nobody is graded on day one.
How much does one-on-one training cost?
The studio does not publish prices, and that is a decision rather than an evasion: a plan for two mornings a week and a plan for five are not the same thing, and neither is a plan for a 24-year-old and one for someone six weeks out of knee surgery. Call (913) 206-7645, say what you want, and you get a number, not a sales call.
Is there a membership fee on top of training?
No. Training at the private studio is not a gym membership with a trainer bolted on. You pay for your sessions with your trainer, and the floor, the equipment and the measurements come with them. There is a separate gym-only option for people who want the floor without a trainer.
What happens if my trainer is sick, or leaves?
Every trainer here is an employee of the studio, not a contractor renting the floor, so your plan and your measurements belong to the studio and another trainer picks up your next session with your numbers in hand. Christina has run the studio since 2001 and still trains clients herself.
Bring someone, or train in a small group instead
Two people who want the hour together: Tandem training. Three or four: Group training.
